What the heck, how can Thatch be 6 already? Like I said before, time is flying exponentially at this point. We kept this celebration low key because we've already done the big stuff. Jonathan is on nights so we obviously needed to keep out of the house, there was no containing the excitement on this day. When he woke up he announced "It iss time to start my Birthday!!" I have created a birthday monster but I love it!
There were a few official errands that needed to be ran first such as signing up for swim lessons, buying some cupcakes for our play date and picking up an estimate for new windows. After that we headed to Alaskaland (No, I am never going to call it Pioneer Park) and played with Layla and Jack, my friend Shana's little ones.

He was playing Spiderman...move over Thomas! |

Here's what I think he was thinking :"Huh, this looks dangerous. I will not go any farther up than this. Yup, good plan." |

Where he's always happiest, on the Alaskaland Train. |

Coop is happy too but not with me because I separated him and Thatch for shenanigans. |
After Alaskaland we went to OT, Lowes and then home for naptime. We were able to visit with Jonathan a little before he headed off to work and to skype with Grammy and Grandpa for some quality birthday chit chating. Then it was to Grandma and Sam's for some party action! Thatch only picked at his food a little bit and then headed off to the farm to feed the horses (which he loves!). When the got back we did cake and he got some fun Spiderman gear which I'm sure will appear in some pictures soon.
